SoundHound does not have any fees or subscriptions! It is free to enjoy for all our users.

If you prefer an ad-free experience, we offer SoundHound Infinity (SoundHound∞) for purchase from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. SoundHound∞ is a one-time fee, and again there is no monthly fees. 

You can upgrade to SoundHound∞ from the Settings in the SoundHound app. Go to the Settings and click Upgrade SoundHound.
